GEM’s are able to travel anywhere that the speed limit is posted at 35MPH or under, which includes most of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Here is a map of the general area you will be able to explore in our GEM’s.  WHAT IS THERE TO DO WITH MY GEM?

 

Acadia National Park is definitely on our list of best things to explore in your GEM, with over 30 miles of accessible roads! You can explore the Park Loop Road where you’ll find Sand Beach, Thunder Hole, multiple trailheads for mountain hikes, Otter Cliffs, and many more treasures along the way. The Park Loop Road is also home to the entrance of Cadillac Mountain which is a must-see attraction. you can make Reservations for Cadillac Mtn. Summit and catch an unforgettable sunrise or sunset, just make sure to make reservations days in advance because slots book up very fast. The park is also famous for their Carriage Roads, but unfortunately, no motor vehicles are allowed.

**We recommend at least a 4-hour rental for the Park Loop Road**

Once you are ready for a lunch break, there are tons of amazing local restaurants in Bar Harbor. Some of our favorites are Side Street Cafe, Paddy’s Irish Pub & Restaurant, Thrive Juice Bar and Kitchen, Havana, Cafe This Way, Galyn's just to name a few, but there are so many other delicious spots to eat that we couldn’t possibly name them all.
